UAVs featured at research farm field day

CRAWFORDSVILLE ? ?UAVs ? demonstration and basics of imagery? is one of the presentations featured at the Sept. 8 Fall Field Day at the Iowa State University Southeast Research Farm near Crawfordsville.

?UAVs ? demonstration and basics of imagery? will be presented by Ryan Bergman, program coordinator II in agricultural and biosystems engineering.

Other field day tour topics include: farm pond management, yield forecasting, and a season review with discussion of the CenUSA biomass research.

Registration for the field day starts at 1 p.m., with the tour starting at 1:30 p.m.

Attendance is free, and the field day is open to the public. Certified Crop Advisor Continuing Education Units will be available at no charge.
