What about rights of business owners?
In the Ledger’s Jan. 6 edition, I saw an article that mentioned Rep. Jon Jacobsen was proposing legislation to deny employers the right to request wearing of masks in their business places.
Rep. Jacobsen wrote, "We're just for medical freedom." What about employer freedom?
I thought Republicans were in favor of the rights of business owners, large or small. Now the Republican party is going to legislate away this employer freedom? Employers will need to allow in their businesses potential customers who could infect--and even potentially kill--other customers?
This is not the Republican party that I've been familiar with over the years: "The Republican Party is generally considered business-friendly and in favor of limited government regulation of the economy." (Source: Ryan Furhmann, founder of Furhmann Capital, LLC.)
