The Worship Committee at the United Church of Crawfordsville will hold their annual Food Drive from Nov. 1-25.
All the food items and monetary gifts will go to the local food pantry. Remember to check the dates on all food items so they aren't outdated. Monetary gifts are also accepted and can be sent to the church with Atten: Food Drive.
The Executive Committee of the United Church Women have decided for the well-being of everyone concerned during this pandemic that they will cancel the 2020 November and December meetings. Members are asked to continue to fill their Blessing Boxes and it will be decided later how best to disperse this money. The treasurer will pay any pledges/expenses already approved by the 2020 Guidelines for Giving. It is their hope that the group will be able to meet again soon in 2021.
The Dorcas Sewing ladies also have decided it is in the best interest of all concerned to not get together as a group. Anyone who would like projects to do at home may contact Donna. All their meetings are canceled until further notice.
The Sugar Creek Church at Wayland will serve a meal, Sunday, Nov. 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., drive-thru only (in the North entrance and out the South). They will be serving a Turkey Tenderloin Sandwich, Party Potatoes, Cole Slaw and Dessert Bar. This is a Free-Will offering.
