United Church of Crawfordsville to hold Spring Rummage Sale

The United Church of Crawfordsville will hold it's Spring Rummage Sale beginning Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 6.p.m.; Friday, April 26, 8.a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, April 27- 8 a.m. to noon.
The sale will feature Clothing of all sizes ranging from Infant to Adult; Household items, Toys, Furniture, Books, Bedding, etc.
PLEASE anyone donating items: Be sure items are clean and in good condition. NO TV's or COMPUTERS!
CRAWFORDSVILLE LIONS CLUB
The Crawfordsville Lions Club met Monday evening, April 8, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. for their monthly dinner meeting at the Crawfordsville Community Room with 14 members present.
The meeting was called to order by President Wilson leading the Pledge of Allegiance and Lion Nancy offered prayer.
The meeting reconvened following the meal prepared by Alice Hochstetler.
The minutes of the March 25, 2024 meeting was read by Secretary Rose. Lion Treasurer Finke gave his report.
Old Business: The list of the Scholarship recipients is ready and Lion Davis will pick them up . At the last meeting it was suggested that the Club clean up the City Park and also walk around town to pick up trash. It was moved, seconded and approved to do this at the next meeting on Monday, April 22, 2024. Members are to meet at City Hall at 6 p.m. to do this.
Everyone was reminded of The District Convention to be held Friday and Saturday, April 12 and 13 at the Wooden Wheel Vineyards & Winery in Keota.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned by President Wilson.
Tail twister Finke entertained with trivia concerning the Eclipse and other questions to do with the planets, as well as some Easter trivia.
