United Church Women
The United ChurchWomen met Tuesday, May 10 in the church Fellowship Hall with eight ladies present.
Pat Miller gave the meditation " God is in Charge."
President Debbie Lowe called the meeting to order and the Opening Creed was read together.
The minutes of March 8, 2022 were approved as read by secretary Billie Jo Rose .
Treasurer Pat Miller gave her report and it will be filed for audit.

Committee Reports:
Local Activities: One funeral dinner had been served and a Taco Fundraiser was held.
Dorcas: Donna reported twelve lap quilts had been given to HACAP Head Start in Washington.
Cards, Flowers, & Gifts:
The usual cards had been sent and Cathy had purchased two Easter lilies.
Study & Devotions/ Mission Outreach:
The Regular Offering was taken as well as the Least Coin Offering and the prayer of the Least Coin was read together.
Old Business:
The recent Rummage Sale was reported on and it was highly successful. It was mentioned one of the refrigerators is having issues.
New Business:
There will be a Blood Drive at the Church on Monday, June 6 and the Crawfordsville Alumni will meet on Saturday, June 11.

Following a motion to adjourn the Closing Creed was read together. Debbie thanked Margaret for hostessing.
Debbie's closing thoughts were: "Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless." She also cited "Proverbs 31:26.
Baptism
Those attending the baptism of Ava Catherine Wiltfang, daughter of Jason and Pamela Wiltfang of North Liberty at the United Church of Crawfordsville on Sunday, May 15, 2022 were grandparents, Ark and Jan Wong of Cedar Rapids and Dan and Linda Wiltfang of Crawfordsville and uncle, Jason Wong and fiancee, May Chong Chan of Marion and Ava's brother's Bradley and Jackson. They all enjoyed brunch later at the Riverside Casino.
Birth
Jessup and Amber Kremer are the proud parents of a daughter, Drew Kate Kremer, born May 7, 2022 at 11:44 a.m. She weighed 7lbs. 11oz. and was 19.5 inches.
Grandparents are Rob and Becky Kremer of Crawfordsville, Scott Hart of Mt. Pleasant andTammy Hart of Salem,IA. Great-grandparents, Nancy Porter of Crawfordsville and Ed and Pam Long and Great-great grandmother, Jean Long, all of Aledo, IL.
WACO Scholarship
The Crawfordsville Lions Club have named Lilly Christine Clark the 2022 WACO High School $500 Scholarship recipient. Lilly is the daughter of Kevin and Lisa Clark of Wayland. She has been active in 4-H, FFA, County Council, dance, track, softball and choir. She plans to attend Muscatine Community College to major in AG education for two years and then transfer to Iowa State to further her studies.
Blood Drive
The ImpactLife Blood Drive will be held at the United Church of Crawfordsville on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 2:30-7:30 p.m. Donors must register beforehand and may do so by calling David Jewell at 319-931-2044 or Billie Jo Rose at 319-330-9955.
Fish Fry
The United Church of Crawfordsville will be holding a Fish Fry, Sunday, June 5. Free-will donation.
