PROJECT COMPLETED
During Crawfordsville Fun Days, July 5 and 6 the Crawfordsville Community Club decided to hold a silent auction to help one of their own, Joey and Alice Hochstetler, as Joey is suffering from cancer. The whole community came together, as well as those outside the area, including many, many individuals. The Crawfordsville Lions Club and the United Church of Crawfordsville were a part of this. The monies realized were put toward needed home repairs.
The remaining roof was installed and on August 3 thirteen people came together to start replacing their deck.
They were then ready for concrete. On August 6 the first pour was completed with the help of ten men that was much appreciated. On August 11 four guys got together and placed forms for the second pour.
On September 2 the sand was put in and they prepared for the final pour the next week. Thanks to the eleven who gave up their Labor Day to labor. The Rerod was put in on September 5 and they poured cement the following Saturday. They would like to thank everyone for all who helped and the equipment they used and for Layman Concrete Pumping.
They couldn't have done it without them.
The Hochstetlers are very appreciative for the work done and would like to thank everyone for everything the community and beyond have done for them.
