Audra Williams shared cake with the coffee crowd in the Town Center on Friday morning to celebrate her Saturday birthday. Audra?s sister, Mary Meeks and brother-in-law Wayne Brock joined in the celebration. Audra?s son, Mike arrived from Osage Beach, Mo., to spend a few days with his mother.
The Artist of the Month for March is Tim Hill of the UPH maintenance staff. Tim is a photographer whose work celebrates family, nature and vintage cars. This makes for a nice variety in his display.
Every table in the Main Dining Room was filled with residents who showed up to enjoy the Campus Breakfast this week. This breakfast buffet is a popular event each month and the spring-like weather made everyone feel like getting out early for breakfast and enjoying the rest of the day.
The Kerr Hall luncheon, hosted by Wayne and Nadene Brown and Dorothy Miller, was held in the Main Dining Room on Tuesday, March 10. They began with an Irish-themed meal by singing "My Wild Irish Rose" and "My Irish Eyes Are Smiling" accompanied by Julia Gamon on the piano. Herb Yoder gave the blessing, after which they enjoyed a delicious meal of ham balls, potatoes and dessert. Following dinner, residents reminisced about the 20 years of Kerr Hall, which has been home to some of them for the same number of years. The United Presbyterian Home will host a tasting tour of Kerr Hall apartments on Thursday, March 19, from 3 to 5 p.m.
