A Wealth of Health: From Iowa to the World highlights the work of healthcare professionals educated and working at the University of Iowa in developing new health technologies, innovating teaching tools for training future doctors and nurses, and creative STEM educational materials to serve people around the world.
? German Iowa uses research by UI faculty and students to explore Iowa?s largest ethnic group and the influence they had on our state?s culture from 1850 to 1950, with special focus on how the perception of German culture in Iowa shifted during the First and Second World Wars.
The museum features two interactive touchscreens with 10 digital exhibits, highlighting University of Iowa research and creative activity.
Gayla Young, a Danville third- grade teacher, stated that she saw it at STEM fest at SCC in April and that she was very impressed. ?I just thought it was fascinating that there was that much stuff on the bus,? she said.
