Faith Lutheran Church will host a community blood drive from 3:00 pm to 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 8, at 910 Mapleleaf Drive, inside Fellowship Hall.
The Henry County community will host an afternoon blood drive from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 1400 E. Washington St., inside the meeting room.
Mt. Pleasant Middle School will host a community blood drive from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 414 N. Adams St., inside the cafeteria.
Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 with parental permission form available through www.bloodcenter.org) and weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I.D. or MVRBC Donor Card is required to donate. For questions about eligibility, please call the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center at (800)747-5401.
Blood donation is a safe, simple procedure that takes about 45 minutes to one hour. Individuals with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure may be accepted as eligible donors.
