Danville High School/National Honor Society will host a community blood drive from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 419 N. Main St., inside the High School Gym.
The Henry County Community will host an afternoon blood drive from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., on Monday, Nov. 17, at 1400 E. Washington St., inside the E3 Center in the Meeting Room.
The Salem Community will host a blood drive from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., on Monday, Nov. 17, inside the Salem Community Center located at 201 S. Main St.
Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 with parental permission form available through www.bloodcenter.org) and weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I.D. or MVRBC Donor Card is required to donate. For questions about eligibility, please call the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center at (800)747-5401.
Blood donation is a safe procedure. Individuals with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure may be accepted as eligible donors.
