' (Formerly) Turkey Steak Supper: The Hillcrest Academy Alumni Association along with the TWP Optimists will host the annual fundraiser meal on Saturday, April 17, for takeout only. This year's menu will be served from 4:30-7 p.m. and features (instead of turkey) Freeman's pork loin, baked potato, salad, dinner roll, and pie. A freewill donation will be taken at pickup. The Hillcrest proceeds go towards student scholarships.

' Soccer Family Night: The public is invited to watch the Hillcrest Ravens take on Columbus/Winfield-Mt. Union on Thursday, April 22 at 6 p.m. There will be giveaways for kids of all ages but 5th-8th grade boys and girls can sign up for drawings and to play soccer during the halftime varsity game. Students will get in free with their passes along with one adult. Sign up at hillcrestravens.org/5-8events. If you didn't receive your pass or lost it, contact Rebecca at rbeachymiller@hillcrestravens.org. The bleachers will have limited seating. The school recommends bringing blankets and lawn chairs to watch the game. Masks will be required.
