Upcoming events with IMS

Iowa Mettonite High School will be holding a series of events through the month of April.

This year's Culinary Arts Class restaurant dates with IMS are March 14 and April 25. The restaurant opens at 8:30 a.m. each day and the menu will include various entrees, sides and desserts. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the school office 319-656-2073.

The IMS Touring Choir is on tour. On Sunday, March 3, they will perform at First Mennonite at 9:30 a.m. and Lower Deer Creek Mennonite at 7 p.m. The next concert is on Sunday, March 10, at 9:30 a.m. at East Union Mennonite Church. The public is welcome at all performances.

March 4 from 6 - 8 p.m. IMS will hold an open house for all families considering IMS for high school. There will be a tour of the school where families can meet faculty and get to talk with current parents and students about their IMS experience. There also will be information available about applying to IMS and for its Variable Tuition. Register to attend at www.iowamennonite.org/pfn.

On March 11 the IMS Compassion Club is hosting a blood drive from 6:30 -10:30 a.m. to benefit the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center. Each donation saves three to four lives and because of blood drive cancellations due to bad weather, reserves are low right now. Also there isn't a blood drive scheduled in Wellman this year, so please call the IMS office 319-656-2073 or email Gloria Yoder (gyoder@iowammenonite.org) to set up an appointment. New donors, as well as regular donors, are welcome! Your last previous donation must have been by 1/14/2019.

There will be a Visit Day/Bring-A-Friend Day. With the weather interfering with the last Visit Day, on Tuesday, March 19, we are combining our Bring-A-Friend Day with an additional Visit Day.
