Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) will be on-hand at two upcoming blood drives in the local area.
Continental-ContiTech will host a community blood drive from 2 to 4 p.m., on Wednesday, June 3, at 400 N. Goodyear Road, inside the cafeteria.

Donors who last gave blood on or before April 8, 2015, are eligible to give at this drive.
Hearth and Home Technologies will also host a community blood drive from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., on Monday, June 8, at 1915 W. Saunders St., inside the training center.

Donors who last gave blood on or before April 13, 2015, are eligible to give at this drive.
All potential donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 with a parental permission form available through www.bloodcenter.org) and weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I.D. or MVRBC Donor Card is required to donate. For questions about eligibility, please call the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center at 800-747-5401.
Blood donation is a safe, simple procedure that takes about 45 minutes to one hour. Individuals with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure may be accepted as eligible donors.
Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center is the provider of blood and blood components to more than 85 hospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin.
In the local area, MVRBC is the exclusive provider to Great River Health Systems and Henry County Health Center.
