The Washington Public Library is excited to announce their upcoming November events for Tweens and Teens.
Nov. 1-30: National Novel Writing Month Challenge. The library will be hosting and participating in this month long challenge to reach a writing goal of 50,000 words in 30 days. Anyone who wishes to participate is welcome and may choose to set their own word count.
Nov. 7, 4 p.m.: AB presents Teen Movie Night featuring Avengers: Infinity War. Come watch Infinity War at the library with friends. Popcorn will be provided.
Nov. 10, 11 a.m.: Tween and Teen Writing Group. Any tween or teen interested in writing will enjoy this event. There will be brainstorming, writing prompts, discussions on craft, and a chance to share and review each other's work. If there is enough interest, this may be a recurring event.
Nov. 14: Teen Art Display. The Library will be displaying art work submitted by our teen patrons. If anyone is interested in displaying their work, we will be accepting submissions starting Nov. 5. They ask that each participant include a name and number with their submission so they can be contacted and their work returned to them at the end of the month.
