Farm Fresh Spirit, Fruit of the Flesh was the theme of this year's Bible School held Tuesday, Aug. 1 through Friday, Aug. 5 at the United Church of Crawfordsville with the Ainsworth Community Church joining them.
Carman Davis and her team of helpers, (too many to mention) did a tremendous job with everything from the farm scene to crafts.
There were an average of 40 children in attendance and they enjoyed an evening of Bible Study, singing and crafts, as well as outdoor activities. Many from Ainsworth and Crawfordsville helped wherever needed, as well as fed the kids each evening and also provided snacks. Family night was held Friday evening when the children invited their families to join them.
It was very evident Sunday morning during worship when the children excitedly shared their Bible Stories, Bible Verses and Songs with the congregation how much they enjoyed their week.
Thank You, Carman and everyone who had a part in making this another successful and special VBS. I know it took a lot of hard work and we all appreciate what you did to help the little ones learn about God.
