Van Buren events for November

The following is a list of events in Van Buren County during November.

Nov. 1: Villages Folk School Bottomless Bowls, All you can eat soup, homemade bread and desserts at the Stone House in Bentonsport from 5-7 p.m.

Nov. 9: Douds Annual Pancake Day, Enjoy unlimited pancakes, sausages, juice, milk and coffee. 7-10 a.m. Community Club Building in Douds.

Nov. 15-16: Amish Dinner Buffet, All-You-Can-Eat Amish Dinner Buffet at Sunrise Bakery in Bonaparte, 5-8 p.m.

Nov. 24: Thanksgiving Praise Service, songs and scripture to celebrate the Lord for his blessings at 7 p.m. Milton Christian Church.

Nov. 28-Jan. 1: Christmas in the Villages, throughout Van Buren County.

Nov. 28-Jan. 1: Enchanted Forest in Cantril, Monday-Thursday 5-8 p.m., Friday-Sunday 5-10 p.m. Drive or stroll through this self-guided tour of lights and displays in Waubonsie Trail Campground.

Nov. 30: Cookies with Santa, Christmas Bear giveaway, photo with Santa, letter-writing, cookies and milk, from 9-11 a.m. at Hotel Manning in Keosauqua.

Nov. 30: Light Up the Park, Come and see the park light up! Enjoy hot cocoa, cider and chili to celebrate the kick-off of the holiday season at 7 p.m. at Indian Lake Park in Farmington.
