Van Buren School Carnival Saturday

KEOSAUQUA ? The Van Buren School Carnival will be 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the Van Buren High School in Keosauqua.

The carnival will include games, activities and food for all ages.

Games will include: ?minute-to-win-it? competitions, balloon shaving, coin toss, golf putting, a cake walk, a free-throw shoot, a fish pond and more.

Activities will include a bounce house, corn dig, rope dummy, face painting, photo booth, jail, marriage booth and others.

Kettle corn will be available, and a concession stand will serve food and drinks.

The event is sponsored by the Van Buren Spanish Club, ag club, art club, sports boosters, after-prom committee, YLC and Camp Courageous committee.

Admission is $2 per person, and game tickets are 25 cents each. Proceeds go to the programs of the sponsoring groups.
