Mar. 1, 2019 11:04 am
Trenton United Methodist Church is pleased to announce that Brent Vernon has accepted an invitation to present a concert Sunday, March 3, at 7 p.m. Brent Vernon is a Christian singer-songwriter, keyboard artist, ventriloquist, and children's book writer and illustrator. For more than 20 years, Brent Vernon & Sam have crisscrossed the United States sharing their stories and songs in churches, schools, and many other venues along the way. Each of Brent's presentations contains a healthy dose of energetic and heartfelt music along with a visit from the hilarious Sam.
Throughout the year, Brent schedules approximately six concert tours, from eight days to seven weeks, and he covers most of the continental United States every two years or so. On occasion, he travels overseas as well. He enjoys the breadth of experiences - large and small, rural and suburban, young and not-so-young. For more information, see www.brentvernon.com or Brent Vernon on Facebook.
There is no admission charge. Brent Vernon travels on faith, so the folks at Trenton will receive a love offering to thank him.
The evening of the concert the congregation will serve supper at 5:30 before the concert at 7.
During 2019, the congregation of Trenton United Methodist Church is celebrating its 125th anniversary with a series of special presentations. The building, located at the SE edge of Trenton, is fully accessible, with plenty of free parking. All are welcome to enjoy any of the special events as well as worship on Sundays at 9 a.m.
