VFW LADIES AUXILIARY

The Ladies Auxiliary to Dimmitt-Vorhies Post 2271 met May 13 at the post home, with 11 members present.

Installation of officers was held. Deb Rowe was the installing officer.

The audit was read and approved.

Memorial Day plans were discussed.

Joyce Hostetter was given a life membership in the National Home for Children.

Cake was served to honor Mother?s Day.

The next meeting will be held June 10 at the post home. All auxiliary sisters are invited to attend.

FAIRFIELD WOMEN?S CLUB GARDEN DEPARTMENT

The Fairfield Women?s Club Garden Department will meet at the McElhinny House Thursday to depart at 8:30 a.m. on a trip to the Pella area.

The trip will include a tour of greenhouses and lunch at a tea room.

Reservations are required. Call Donna Clark at 472-4248 by noon Tuesday.
