The groom is the son of John and Diane Van Winkle of Fairfield. He is a graduate of Iowa State University and is project manager at an environmental consulting company in Urbandale.
A reception was held at Ramada Tropics Resort in Des Moines, and the couple traveled to Jamaica for their honeymoon.
They have made their home in West Des Moines.
