Violin students to present recital
The violin students of Gwen Ying will present a solo recital at the Washington Public Library in Washington at 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 23. The students will play the music of Albeniz, Bohm, Bach, von Dittersdorf, Monti, and folk songs. They will be assisted on the piano by Linda McNeil.

The violin students of Gwen Ying will present a solo recital at the Washington Public Library in Washington at 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 23. The students will play the music of Albeniz, Bohm, Bach, von Dittersdorf, Monti, and folk songs. They will be assisted on the piano by Linda McNeil.
The students who will perform are: Alaina and Alijah Beatty of Washington; Gwen, John, Kate, and Kevin Flannery of Washington; Meredith Lumberg of Washington; Ruby Witthoft of Washington; Jia Huang Dong of Iowa City; and Ellen Willhoit of Batavia.
The recital is free and open to the public.
