The JUST US GIRLS vocal group of Washington is offering a $500 scholarship to a female college student. Applicants must be Washington County residents who have been out of high school for at least one year. She must have musical involvement in her community. Applicants must be enrolled in a college or vocational school or have plans to do so in the near future. She must have a need for financial assistance for tuition to improve her marketable skills. A JUST US GIRLS Scholarship will be applied to tuition costs at any accredited institution.
Details and applications may be picked up at the Washington Kirkwood Center, the Washington Public Library, the Wellman-Scofield Public Library, the Kalona Public Library or Griggs Music in Washington.
