Voluneets needed to spruce up downtown Fairfield

The Fairfield Beautification Commission and the Southeast Iowa Sierra Club are looking for volunteers to help spruce up downtown Fairfield Saturday morning.
The start time has been updated to 8 a.m. because of the heat.
'We start at Central Park and spread out to all downtown areas,” said Susan Gail of the Fairfield Beautification Commission.
A water refreshment station will be at Fairfield Nutrition so volunteers can cool off.
Volunteers should bring gloves, trowels, and hats.
