W-MU baseball shut out by Indians

WAPELLO ? The Winfield-Mt. Union baseball team traveled to Wapello for a SEISC North Division game on Tuesday night. The Wolves were defeated 13-0 by the Indians.
Wapello scored three runs in the first inning, five in the second, one in the third and four in the fourth to pick up the win. W-MU had just two hits in the loss.

WAPELLO ? The Winfield-Mt. Union baseball team traveled to Wapello for a SEISC North Division game on Tuesday night. The Wolves were defeated 13-0 by the Indians.
Wapello scored three runs in the first inning, five in the second, one in the third and four in the fourth to pick up the win. W-MU had just two hits in the loss.
Jacob Ford and Mitchell Niebuhr each threw two innings in the loss. Ford picked up the loss on the mound, giving up eight runs. Niebuhr gave up five runs over his two innings.
The Wolves fell to 0-5 on the year with the loss. They will take on another 0-5 team, Columbus Community tonight (Friday) at home. That game is set to begin at 7 p.m.
