WACO boys? b-ball team wins first game

ELDON ? The WACO boys won their first game of the year on Tuesday night on the road at Cardinal.
The Warriors used a 32-12 halftime advantage to jump out to a big lead and stretched it by three points in the second half to come away with the 54-31 victory.
Jacob Fried scored 14 points in the win to lead the team. Matthew Leichty had 11 points and 11 rebounds.

ELDON ? The WACO boys won their first game of the year on Tuesday night on the road at Cardinal.
The Warriors used a 32-12 halftime advantage to jump out to a big lead and stretched it by three points in the second half to come away with the 54-31 victory.
Jacob Fried scored 14 points in the win to lead the team. Matthew Leichty had 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Colton Horak filled the stat sheet with nine points, eight assists and 12 rebounds. Beau Beckler had nine points of his own. Conner Eichelberger scored six. Nik Coble finished with four and Jason Sammons scored one.
The Warrior boys moved to 1-8 with the win. The girls fell to 2-7 with a 37-18 loss.
WACO will be back in action tonight at home, where they will take on Central Lee. The girls? game tips off at 6 p.m., followed by the boys at 7:30 p.m.
