WACO food pantry two Thursdays per month

Area residents are reminded that the WACO Food Pantry is available at the United Church of Crawfordsville the first and third Thursday of each month. It is open to Seniors 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and for all others from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MEN'S PRAYER GROUP

A group of Men meet every Wednesday at noon for a meal and Bible Study. All men are welcome. Bring your Bible and join the group. Everyone, young or old, is welcome.

The Wayland State Bank (Wayland and Winfield Branches) will compete to raise money for their hometown food pantry leading up to the WMU/WACO football game on Friday, September 8.

If the Winfield Branch wins the WACO Principal will wear a WMU Jersey and serve lunch to the WMU students on Monday, September 11 and if the Wayland Branch wins Mr. Gill will served lunch dressed in a WACO Jersey and serve lunch to the WACO students on Monday, Sept. 11.

Take unexpired and non-perishable food items only to Wayland State Bank by Friday, Sept. 8.
