WACO opens Kaufman Athletic Training and Fitness Center to public

WAYLAND - The Kaufman Athletic Training and Fitness Center will open for the public to use the Fitness Center on Monday, Oct. 22. The Center hours will be 5 a.m. - 11 p.m. seven days a week, 365 days a year. Membership is required and can be purchased in WACO's Central Office, Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

No appointments are necessary. Only cash and checks can be accepted at this time. Checks should be made out to WACO Foundation.

There will be a special Membership drive held Friday, Oct. 19, from 5-6:30 p.m. in the Fitness Center before the last home Varsity Football Game.

There is no trainer, instructor, classes or tours available at the Center. Cardio equipment, as well as a complete muscle group workout is available on the weight system. There is a water bottling filling station on site and vending. A small women's and men's restroom/shower is accessible. No street shoes are allowed in the Center.
