WACO plans preschool, kindergarten events

WACO is currently updating its preschool listing. If you have a child, or know of a child, who would like to attend the WACO Community School District and is 5 years of age or younger, please call Jennifer McElhinney at the WACO Elementary office at 319-658-2931 with information. Information letters will be sent to parents or guardians who ? according to records in the district office ? will need to attend one of the following meetings. Please be sure to call in your child?s information so he or she may be added to the class and contact list.

Kindergarten Round-up parent orientation will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, at the WACO Elementary gym in Crawfordsville. Forms will be completed that night.

Preschool parent orientation and pre-registration will be from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, at WACO Elementary in Crawfordsville. Parents are asked to come to the preschool classrooms for a visit first, and then to the parent meeting in the elementary library from 6:30 to 7 p.m.

For the Peek-at-Preschool, your child will attend on the morning of either Wednesday, May 25, or Thursday, May 26, at WACO Elementary School.
