WACO Quiz Bowl competes in conference championship

The WACO Quiz Bowl team is being led by two returning captains, Libby Skriver and Mitchell Shaffer, who will compete in the conference championship at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, in New London. The Warriors have competed in two events already this season. Experienced players, Mason Barnhart, Jackson Gerot and Duncan Pickard helped lead the team to the championship. New members this year include Dylan Hendricks, Jalyssa Jepson and Gabe Black.

Academic Quiz Bowl competition involves teams of students answering curriculum-based questions in an entertaining, fast-paced, game show-type format. Academic competition promotes excellence in education. More than any other extracurricular activity, it corresponds directly with the goals and mission of the school.
