WACO reports high scores at music contest
WACO High School musicians recently performed and competed in the Iowa High School Solo and Ensemble Contest held at Danville High School.
Directors and musicians select technically appropriate music to perform during the contest. Musicians are judged on the performance of the piece. The judges rating scale is numbered one through four, with a ?I? score being the highest.

WACO vocal musicians are directed by Jane Koch and orchestra students are directed by Denise Freyenberger. The competition was held on Saturday, April 16.
