WACO School Board to meet March 16

The WACO School Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 16, at WACO Elementary Media Center in Crawfordsville. The board will hold a public hearing on the budget for fiscal year 2016 and hold the regular meeting.

Items on the agenda include recognition of visitors, a public hearing concerning the 2016 school budget, consent agenda, public forum, review of board policies, approval of the 2016 budget, a budget guarantee resolution, quotes for secondary building locker rooms, course registration handbook, master contract with WACO Education Association, a Washington County Riverboat grant application, last day for seniors, administrative reports, and board reports/comments.

The board will also meet in an exempt session as provided for in Chapter 20.17(3) Code of Iowa for negotiating sessions and shall be exempt from the provisions of Chapter 21.
