WACO School Board to meet Oct. 20

The WACO Community School District Board of Education regular meeting and public hearing will begin at 6:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 20, in the media center at the WACO Junior/Senior High School in Wayland.

Items on the agenda include: Public hearing concerning instructional support levy; recognition of visitors; approval of agenda; review of WACO Mission Statement; consent agenda for approval of minutes, financial reports, bills for payment, open enrollment, and personnel; public forum; review of Board of Education Policy Section 404, 404.R1, 404.2, 404.2R1 and 404.R2; resolution of participation in instructional support levy; approval of transportation request from WMU Board of Education; approval for allowable growth request; request for out-of-state trip; approval of quote for energy updates at secondary and elementary buildings; approval of roof quote for football locker room; approval of teacher leader compensation grant; approval of bids for surplus property; superintendent report; principals? reports; school comments/reports; and superintendent evaluation.
