WACO students have successfully scored above the state average for the ACT composite since 2016. The number of students completing the test has also continued to increase.
In college level English composition, 75 percent of WACO students are shown to be college ready compared to 70 percent average for the state. WACO scored 19 percent above the state average in Algebra, 9 percent above in social science, and 18 percent above in biology.
Beginning with the 2013 WACO High School graduating class, all students whose scores are college reportable, both standard and extended time tests, are included in this report.
The ACT consists of curriculum-based tests of educational development in English, mathematics, reading, and science designed to measure the skills needed for success in first-year college coursework.
