WACO volleyball team drops home game

The WACO volleyball team hosted Wapello on Thursday night in a Southeast Iowa Super Conference home game. The Warriors took one set from the Arrows but wound up falling 25-13.
Wapello controlled the first two games, winning 25-13 and 25-15. WACO came back and stunned the Arrows in a 26-24 third set, temporarily stealing away momentum. Wapello, however, rebounded to win the fourth set 25-13.
The Warriors dropped to 6-14 overall with the loss. The regular season will come to an end with three-straight SEISC South Division games.
The Warriors will hit the road to take on West Burlington on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at 7:30 p.m. They will host Cardinal on Thursday, Oct. 5, and end the regular season with a matchup at Central Lee on Tuesday, Oct. 10.
