WACO’s CROP Drive to begin Oct. 2

The WACO C.R.O.P. (Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty) Drive will be held between Sunday, Oct. 2 and Oct. 30.
C.R.O.P. works locally, nationally and globally with the Church World Service organization to help those who need it most. In addition, 25% of donations will stay within the WACO Community. The local church ministerial group will be dispersing funds to those families and individuals who qualify.
This year’s C.R.O.P. goal is to collect $34,000 for this worthy project. Canvassers will soon begin contacting persons for monetary as well as farm commodity donations. The C.R.O.P. Drive continues through Oct. 30. Please give generously as you are able.
