Wagner family reunion held

Descendants of John and Elisabeth (Doran) Wagner gathered Aug. 9, at the Washington Central Park Community Center for a potluck dinner.

Attending from the Knight Wagner family were Jim and Karen MacDonald of Ames, John and Judy Brayton of Centerville, Dick and Ruth Lukins of Columbus Junction, Larry and Barbara Swailes of Crawfordsville, Chris Storr of Muscatine, Don and Loretta Gardner, Jack and Jan Kiesey, Raymond Swailes, Ken Wagner, Thelma Wagner of Washington, Paul and Nancy Wagner of Rock Island, Illinois. From the Willis Wagner were Erica Yoder of Cedar Rapids, Margaret Crawford of Keota, Larry and Linda Yoder of Marengo, Richard and JoAnn Stout of Washington, Larry and Kathy Gugel of Wayland, Robert and Marjorie Jones, Marsha Jones of Wellman.

Thelma Wagner was recognized as the oldest attending and living in the family. The next Wagner Reunion will be the second Sunday of August 2017. We would like to invite the Caldwell relatives to join us as both Knight and Willis married Caldwell girls. Committee will remain Paul Wagner, Marsha Jones and Ken Wagner.
