Wartburg College vocal group set to perform in Mt. Pleasant

Festeburg, a men?s vocal group from Wartburg College in Waverly, will be in performance twice on the weekend of May 9, in Mt. Pleasant.

On Saturday, May 9, Festeburg will present a concert as part of the Saturday night service of First United Methodist Church, located at 309 N. Main St., in Mt. Pleasant. Their performance will begin at 5:30 p.m., in the church sanctuary.

On Sunday, May 10, the group will be part of the 9:30 a.m. Divine Service of Faith Lutheran Church, located at 910 East Mapleleaf Drive, in Mt. Pleasant.

Festeburg is comprised of approximately nine male Wartburg students. Their repertoire consists of music from a wide range of styles, both sacred and secular. Singers who are graduates of Mt. Pleasant Community High School include junior, Tanner Stutzman and freshman, Garrett Carlston.

There is no set admission fee for the performances. However, a free-will offering will be accepted to help Festeburg fund their tour.
