Washington Area Performing Arts & Events Center presents Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra Kids Symphony Concert on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
Join the orchestra as we celebrate Halloween in your own Halloween costume! Take photos at our costume photo booth, enjoy some delicious treats, and make memories that last a lifetime. After the concert, everyone can explore the magic of music by meeting the instruments and their musicians up close on stage. This is the perfect event to spark your child’s imagination and enjoy a fun, festive day out!
Our costume concert returns with Superman, E.T., and Star Wars! Look up in the sky … It's a bird. It's a plane. It's … Maestro Bob McConnell! Treat your little ones to an afternoon of enchanting movie music by none other than the amazing John Williams! This 45 minute concert is perfect for kids of all ages.
Kids & parents … wear your Halloween costumes! Meet the instruments. Try out the costume photo booth. Enjoy snacks & prizes. Join us for a John William's themed Halloween concert with music from Superman, E.T. and Star Wars. Kids get in free! Adult tickets ($5) may only be purchased at the door.
