Washington City Council to meet

The Washington City Council will meet at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 120 E. Main Street.

Items on the agenda include: Washington Municipal Band annual report, Relay for Life Halloween Walk Oct. 24 and June 18 requests, rain date for Lincoln School Bike-a-thon Sept. 25, rental inspection update - Steve Donnolly, purchase of a fire brush truck, manhole inspection software, engineering tax order with Fox Engineering - southeast sanitary sewer examination, southeast sanitary sewer cleaning quotations, resolution endorsing park board application to the Washington County Riverboat Foundation (WCRF) for the Central Park fountain, resolution endorsing Municipal Band's application to WCRF for chimes, revised memorandum for offset income program, stop sign and speed zone request policy, first reading of ordinance allowing partial residential use of ground floor buildings in a B-1 central business district, second reading of ordinance establishing smoke free zones, second reading of ordinance creating new "A-2" agricultural zoning classification and resolution approving permanent easement agreements with property owners - courthouse sewer separation project.
