Washington City Council to meet

The Washington City Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 120 E. Main St., for a closed session per Iowa Code 21.5(c) - negotiations.

A regular session will be held after the closed session. Items on the agenda include: Jingle Bell run request, Main Street Washington SNOW request, YMCA request - Vision Iowa, snow emergency policy, authorizing construction of a municipal tow lot, affirming mayoral appointments to nuisance hearing panel, state TIF report - fiscal year 2015, setting public hearing for fiscal year 2016 budget report, resolution setting regular meeting dates, resolution obligating and approving urban renewal tax revenue funds for the repayment of eligible debts for fiscal year 2017, resolution approving permanent easement agreement with property owner (Washington Publishing) - court house sewer separation project, real estate purchasing agreement and resolution amending personnel policies.
