Washington City Council to meet Oct. 6

The Washington City Council will meet at 6 p.m, Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 120 E. Main St.

Items on the agenda include: Washington Music Boosters - haunted trail request, nuisance abatement update, La Canada wall evaluation, West Third Street sewer study, public hearing on the West Fifth Street water main project, resolution adopting plans for the West Fifth Street parallel water main project, resolution awarding the contract for the West Fifth Street water main project, resolution approving urban renewal joint agreement with Washington County related to the establishment of the Washington County Hospital Urban Renewal area, resolution for street lighting - McCreedy Drive, resolution authorizing a levy, assessment and collection of costs to Washington County Treasurer, second reading of an ordinance allowing partial residential use of the ground floors of buildings in B-1 central business district, third reading of an ordinance establishing smoke free places and third reading of an ordinance creating new "A-2" agricultural zoning classification.
