Washington Community Theater sets auditions

WASHINGTON, Iowa ? The Washington Community Theater is looking for talented singers, actors, actresses, and dancers to perform in the musical ?Grease? June 16-25.

Auditions will be April 14-15 at the Washington YMCA. To audition, sign up ahead of time.

Around 20-30 young, talented, experienced actors/actresses ages 16 and older will be cast. Experienced dancers also will be cast.

For singing auditions, bring a vocal selection, not from ?Grease.? It needs to be 16 bars or less and no longer than 2 minutes. Bring sheet music for the accompanist.

For dancing auditions, dress comfortably. A simple dance routine will be taught, then performed for the directors.

Callbacks will be April 17.
