Washington County 4-H offers holiday gift box

In a year like 2020, it is the perfect time to spread extra holiday cheer and Washington County 4-H wants to help kids do this by offering a Do-It-Yourself Holiday Gift Box. This creative, hands-on box is meant for K - 5th graders to explore several varieties of art creations, try something new, develop a new skill and have fun. 4-H membership is not required to participate.
Each box will include instructions, supplies to create 5 unique gifts, wrapping paper, bows, and greeting cards. Completed projects could be kept to enjoy, give as a gift, or be fun activities to complete during school break.
Boxes must be preordered by December 1 online at https://tinyurl.com/DIYHolidayBox. Payment must be received before boxes are made for pick up. Make payments to Washington County Extension, 2223 250th St, Washington, IA 52353. In the memo line, write Holiday Gift Box Order.
Pickup will be at the Washington County Extension Office Dec. 14-21. Office hours are 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Accommodations can be made for no contact pick up and pick up outside of these times, if prearranged by calling the office at 319-653-4811. All boxes must be picked up by Dec. 24th.
