Washington County 4-H plans annual celebration

The Washington County 4-H Program will host its annual awards celebration on Sunday, Nov. 7 at the KC Hall in Washington. The 4-H family is welcome to gather as a 4-H family at 3 p.m. Families who wish to participate should bring a dozen cookies or precut bars to create the intermission dessert bar.

The Awards Program will start at 3 p.m. All Washington County 4-H’ers and family members, club leaders and other 4-H volunteers are invited and encouraged to attend.

This is an afternoon of recognition of the 2020-2021 4-H year of learning and growing. There is no charge for this afternoon organized by the County Council and the 4-H & Youth Committee. The evening will include installation of the 2021-2022 County Council and ELITE Project Team members, recognize adult volunteers and businesses, record book awards, CBI Bank 4-H Participation Awards and other special honors.
