The Washington County 4-H Club First Tech Challenge team, the Eaglebots, is currently seeking new members who have an interest in programming, robotics, marketing and communication. Members of the First Tech Challenge teams must be in 7th-12th grade. The group is excited for the year connected to the national First Tech organization and their challenges for competition. Participation in this club will allow for youth to grow in the areas of team work, problem solving, robotics experience, and communication skills – all while making new friends with youth from across the county.
Youth would be welcome to join Eaglebots as a brand-new member to 4-H or could be a current 4-H member wanting to change clubs or add a secondary club. This position is vital to club growth and success. Interested youth may contact coaches Jim Pitcher and Kelley Hough through eaglebots13532@gmail.com
For more information on how to support the robotics team or Washington County 4-H’ers, contact Amy Green at the Washington County Office, 319-653-4811.
