Feb. 9, 2022 12:38 pm
The Washington County 4-H Club First Tech Challenge team, the Eaglebots, is currently seeking new members who have an interest and goals in marketing and communication. Members of the First Tech Challenge teams must be in 7th-12th grade. These marketing members do not need an interest or background in robotics but instead want to work to promote the team by communicating with sponsors and the public.
The marketing members for the robotics club would grow skills in team work, communication skills, graphic design, professionalism and public relations. Tasks would include: 1) recognizing sponsors and keeping them up to date on club activities 2) Designing team T-shirt and banner 3) Assist with local league meet 4) Research other FTC teams.
This youth would be welcome to join Eaglebots as a brand-new member to 4-H or could be a current member wanting to change clubs or add a secondary club. This position is vital to club growth and success. Interested youth may contact coaches Jim Pitcher and Kelley Hough through eaglebots13532@gmail.com
For more information on how to support the robotics team or Washington County 4-H’ers, contact Amy Green at the Washington County Office, 319-653-4811.
