Washington County Fair invites open show exhibits

The Washington County Fair Open Show will be accepting entries of baked goods, candies, jellies, jams, canned goods, photography, art, wood working, textiles, quilts, flowers, plants, vegetables and fruit.

Exhibits may be entered at the old school house in the center of the Washington County Fairgrounds on Sunday, July 16 from 3-5 p.m. or Monday, July 17, from 9 a.m. to noon. There is an entry fee of $0.50 per item (maximum of $7) you would like to have judged. There is no fee to have your items displayed. Projects will be on display until Thursday at 8 p.m.

Each item must have the individual’s name, address, telephone number and class number attached to each article. Extreme care will be taken in handling exhibits, but they are not responsible for damage or loss of an item.
