Washington — The Washington County Fair, one of Southeast Iowa’s most anticipated annual traditions, is excited to announce a new partnership with Set Your Sites, Inc., a Nebraska-based camping technology company, to introduce a convenient payment experience for campers.
Opening for the season on March 30, the Washington County Fair campground will introduce walk-up mobile payment options on-site, showing real-time availability of walk-up sites with the convenience of reserving ahead of time depending on camper preference.
“We are a largely volunteer organization, so this is a huge help in terms of manpower,” said Jarrod Horning, Campground Chair for the Washington County Fair Association. “Partnering with Set Your Sites helps us offer a simpler, more efficient way to reserve campsites and manage payments while keeping the experience welcoming for everyone.”
Set Your Sites, Inc. provides flexible, user-friendly technology designed specifically for fairgrounds and campgrounds. The platform enables online reservations, contactless payments, and real-time site availability with a focus on simplicity for both staff and guests.
“Our mission is to help outdoor spaces deliver the modern conveniences today’s visitors expect without losing what makes these places special,” said Stacy Dam, CEO of Set Your Sites, Inc. “We’re proud to partner with the Washington County Fair to support their events that bring the community together year after year.”
The Washington County Fair welcomes thousands of visitors annually for a full schedule of entertainment, agriculture showcases, family activities, and community celebrations. With this new partnership, campers will enjoy a smoother experience from booking to arrival, helping make more memories at the fair and in the community.
