The Washington County Historical Society Executive Board met at 9:10 a.m., March 27, 2014, at the Washington Public Library. Ferd Marie was presiding officer, and 10 members were present.
The business meeting was held while members were stuffing envelopes for invitations to the annual dinner, to be held April 28 in West Chester. It was decided to have Conger House open from 4 to 7 p.m. each day during the 175th celebration in June. The date for the Conger House open house for viewing the Indian Artifacts room has been changed to 1 p.m., May 18. Cabinets are being installed now. Volunteers are needed for Wednesday mornings in April to do cleaning in Conger House. A discussion was held concerning repairs at Red Brick School and maintenance at Conger House.
The next meeting will be at 9 a.m., April 24, 2014, in Conger House in Washington.
