The Washington County Historical Society Executive Board met at 9 a.m., April 24, 2014, at Conger House in Washington. Eight members attended, and presiding officer was Ferd Marie.
A grant application has been sent to the Washington County Riverboat Foundation to pay for repair of the basement entrance to Conger House. Plans were made for the open house for the Indian Artifacts Room, Dublin Store display and the Pioneer Kitchen to be held from 1 to 4 p.m., May 18. Conger House will also be open during the 175th celebration during the first week of June. It was announced that the Genealogical Society will have a program on Steve and Ruth Viggers at its meeting at 7 p.m., May 6, in the Washington Public Library.
The next meeting of the Historical Society will be at 9 a.m., May 22, at Conger House.
